Club Information

The Swedish Hudson Club is a non-profit association for anyone interested in vehicles associated with The Hudson Motor Car Company.

Our goals are to make it possible for as many Hudsons, Essexes and Terraplanes ( and other cars made on Hudson chassis ),to be restored or preserved in an unaltered condition.

We hope to achieve this by:

  • Establishing contact between Hudson owners all over the world.
  • Spreading information.
  • Arranging meetings. ( 3-6 meetings a year, all over Sweden )
  • Coordinating cars, parts and litterature.
  • Keeping contact with other Hudson clubs.

The club started as a chapter of the Swedish Automotive Historical Society (Motorhistoriska Sällskapet) in 1971.
In the late 70´s the chapter fell asleep. It was reawakened in 1983 and has been at full speed since.
In 1993 we felt mature enough to form an independent club.

The club has its own paper, Hudsontidningen
( 2 issues/year, only in Swedish ).

We presently have 160 members.

Our annual fee ( for Nordic members ) is 225 SEK.
